GE’s healthymagination initiative is a commitment to creating better health for more people. Sharing Healthy Ideas is a way to bring that idea to life by building a utility that allows users share and discuss healthy ideas across the web.
We began by reinventing the share bar found on the health sections of major news sites like The New York Times, iVillage and the Huffington Post. Our healthymagination share bars tracked healthy news stories as they were bookmarked, shared or discussed, creating a database of healthy ideas as they spread throughout the Internet. We complimented the share bar with rich media units featuring buzzworthy stories gaining momentum across partner sites. We also deployed social-media enabled units highlighting the conversations about the stories taking place on twitter. Over half a million people shared their healthy ideas.

Healthymagination ads for the inagural issue of Wired Magazine for iPad. For the High-Definitition CT scanner, users could manipulate a genuine CT scan of a human heart. For the other ads, users could launch videos of existing TV spots from a static print ad.
